• If you decide to make an appointment for surgery, we’ll give you a surgery consent form and postoperative care instructions so that you can read them carefully at home. If you decide to wait and make your appointment at a later date, we’ll email all of the documents to you.

• Your post-treatment appointment gives your surgeon a chance to make sure your eyes have reacted well to the treatment (24 or 72 hours after treatment). Patients are asked to come in for a second checkup one month after treatment. After that, checkups will depend on the progession or stability of the keratoconus.
