How to choose a good pair of sunglasses: Buy lenses with 100% UV protection, made by reputable brands. Look for polycarbonate lenses. Lightweight, more resistant and more comfortable, these are ideal for sporting activities. Don’t forget about the sides of your glasses. Wraparound sunglasses offer more complete protection for your eyes. Avoid “cutesy” sunglasses for small children, whose eyes are even more vulnerable than ours. This type of sunglasses is more harmful to their eyes than not wearing any eye protection at all. For older children, opt for the same quality of sunglasses you would buy for yourself.
