Can be corrected by intraocular lenses.
Cataracts are a common problem caused by the aging of the eyes and the loss of transparency of the crystalline lens, the natural lens inside the eye.
The crystalline lens becomes partially or totally opaque, and the cataract sufferer can no longer see clearly. The situation can be corrected by using microsurgery to replace the crystalline lens with an intraocular lens. During your pre-operation meeting, the surgeon will suggest the intraocular lenses that are best suited to your vision situation.
